He has worked for the Retail, Insurance(P&C, Health and Life), Banking, and Pharmaceutical companies in the US, India, South Korea & Saudi Arabia. He has over eight years of experience in leading and managing the design, development, and implementation of all aspects of qualitative and quantitative methods, advanced predictive analytics, risk measurement and management and intelligent interim solutions to support business needs and regulatory requirements across different domains.

Over the last 11 years of the Data Science journey, Varun has been solving and implementing multiple Pharma commercial Data Science solutions. Prior to joining Novartis was associated with Mu Sigma and Bosch As a part of the Data Science team, Varun has been able to deliver large-scale AI products and enable organizations to become ‘AI First’. As a citizen Data Scientist has helped solve problems of strategic importance that have had a significant business impact. In his current role, he provides an efficient pathway for ‘AI’fication of the problems and deciphers the AI solutions to be consumed. Apart from solving for strategic use-cases, he is passionate about creating an ecosystem that can nurture the application of Data Science in all work products.
