Live Training : Bayesian Inference with PyMC

Excellent PyMC Intro

Skylar Versage, Senior Manager

Allen led a well-paced course on bayesian inference breaking the material down into bit sizes chunks. Would recommend anyone interested to take the course. ctor and organizers

Very Well Organised

Zephaniah Grunschlag, Director, Decisioning Engine

An informative and easy-to-digest overview of how to use PyMC3 and ArViz to estimate and visualize Bayesian models in Python.

Great session!

Remi Roche

Great session to start Bayesian through python code... Thanks, Allen Downey !

Amazing workshop

Irina Nikonova, Senior Data Scientist

Thank you very much, @Marta Markiewicz, for an amazing workshop, great presentation, and a lot of material to work through on our own! Special thanks for following up on SARIMAX :)

Thank you!

Michael Schreiber, CTO and Co-Founder

I just wanted to thank you, @Marta Markiewicz for getting through so much material, and being so clear about how the various time-series forecasting methods can be utilized and preparing so well!

Great Presentation!

Michael Corley, Founder & CEO

Great presentation! Thank you. It was worth the wait after they announced it. I spend a lot of time in this sort of realm of data science.

Bayesian Inference with PyMC is available On-Demand

The course is going to be available as a part of the Premium and Premium Annual Subscription Plans.

Upcoming Sessions

Experience from Previous Live Training Sessions

Hands-On Intro to Unsupervised Learning

Michael Livshutz, Technical Business Analyst

I had a bit of previous experience with some of the techniques and was looking for more in-depth. Got all I wanted. Ankur has a great presentation style and excellent examples. I particularly appreciated Ankur's answers to my numerous questions. Those answers alone were worth the price because they provided insight into real-world applications of these models. I also liked the use of live demo in the TensorFlow projector to visualize the results of every algorithm. Will adopt it right away.

NLP Fundamentals in Python

Jess Garcia, Founder

Great Course! Compressed/intense knowledge delivery. Great content. Great instructor.

NLP Fundamentals in Python

Huw Hallam, Senior Data and Insight Analyst

Matt took us through difficult terrain with ease, making sure everybody was on the same page throughout. Really great teaching! Incredibly useful!

Deep Unsupervised Learning

Daniel Marcelino, Senior Data Scientist

This class was very inspiring

Advanced Fraud Modeling

Shery Cheong, Data Scientist

Aric is a great teacher and the entire class was structured very well. I learned a lot of new interesting techniques. A mix of lecture and live coding with real-time incorporation of student feedback and questions into the class. Best for intermediate to advanced data folks because it assumes you know some Python. I would highly recommend if you have an interest to learn fraud.

Advanced Fraud Modeling

Andrew Terrell, Technology Consultant

Took as a follow-up to the intro class on fraud modeling. As good as the first session, really great material! Natural teacher!

Introduction to Fraud and Anomaly Detection

Yanyi Jiang, Machine Learning Senior Data Scientist

The instructor has a very clear presentation of the topics and great energy. He provides theory and hands-on codes for implementation. Would be interested in stay informed about some good examples and real-world cases via the slack channel (since for very good reasons, this information could not be publicly available). Money and time well spent on this session.

Getting Started with D3.js for Data Visualization

Jeff Lyons, Software Engineer

I've been experimenting with D3 off and on for a few months. Usually attempting to integrate it into a work project. While I've had some success, I've never really understood what I was doing...lots of copying and pasting from other people. Walking through it with someone makes it all much clearer. I think I can be much more confident bringing D3 into my work projects and conversations after these few short hours. I hope there's more to come!

Hands on Parallel Computing with Dask and Pandas

Michael Kurtz, Data Strategist

A very good introduction to parallel computing in Python. Interesting content, easy to follow, and good delivery.

Practical Advanced Pandas

Tyrel Cherry, System Engineer

I like the hands-on approach to teaching the additional techniques of Pandas, and I greatly appreciate the availability of the course's code for me to review later.
