In this introductory machine learning live training, you'll cover a range of topics including, defining machine learning, distinguishing supervised and unsupervised learning, covering basic concepts, exploring common algorithms (eg decision trees, neural networks), emphasizing model training and evaluation, discussing feature engineering, and addressing ethical considerations. Practical applications, tools, and hands-on exercises are included for a well-rounded understanding.
Upon completion, individuals will have a foundational understanding of machine learning and its capabilities and be well-positioned to take advantage of introductory-level hands-on training in machine learning and data science such as ODSC East’s Mini-Bootcamp.
