Description

Spatial Data Science plays a crucial role in addressing climate change and minimizing its impact on businesses through asset damage, supply chain and operations disruptions, as well as the financial risks associated with the transition to a low-carbon economy. In this webinar, we will harness spatial data coming from multiple sources to create composite scores that can describe the climate risk associated with different assets, from people to infrastructure. All of this will be done within the CARTO cloud native environment.

In this live session and tutorial, you will learn how to:

  • derive composite scores through simple SQL statements, from variable selection and preprocessing to choosing the appropriate way to scale and aggregate the data
  • use a low-code workflow to leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) to summarize the information from these scores to inform decision makers
  • create interactive maps to empower companies to manage climate risk efficiently
